| We are always excited about meeting new patients
during their first visit to our office. We know your time is valuable; therefore we take
extra strides to ensure that you are seen on time for your appointments. New
Patient paperwork should have been mailed to you prior to your appointment so that
you may have the time to read it over carefully and fill it out completely prior to your
appointment. Upon arriving to our office, please give your completed paperwork to Dr.
Wilhites friendly front office staff. Dont forget to fill in any dental or
orthodontic insurance information on your paperwork. Our front office staff will try to
collect your benefit information for you so we may explain your benefits to you at this
appointment. One of our new patient coordinators will then greet you and escort you back
for your exam. In order for Dr. Wilhite to give the most accurate treatment plan possible,
it is necessary that we take x-rays and photos. (Dr. Wilhite uses the latest technology of
digital imaging, which reduces the exposure of radiation 70-90%.) There is no additional
charge for these records. Once Dr. Wilhite is able to review the records and complete
her comprehensive oral exam, she will be able to determine what the best treatment plan
will be. She will explain what treatment is needed, what type of appliances will be used,
and give an estimated treatment time. Dr. Wilhite is always happy to answer any additional
questions you may have regarding her treatment recommendations. The new patient
coordinator will then go over your treatment cost, payment options, and any applicable
insurance information.
If you would like to schedule an appointment to start treatment we will be glad to do
so at your first appointment. This will ensure you are able to get the most convenient
appointment time for you and your family.
Note: If you have not received your welcome packet with your "New Patient
paperwork, you may download it now. Please be sure to print ALL 3 forms.
